Job Description

Manage multiple Labor Management System (LMS) sites coordinating key tasks and deliverables including strategic and tactical direction and analytical support. Work directly with property leadership and Center for Operational Excellence (COE) team to innovate and deliver best-in-class LMS and Operational Effectiveness (OE). Analyze and monitor labor effectiveness for all jobs and optimize for optimal service at minimum cost.


What will I be doing?


  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of Responsibility Matrix tasks
  • Conduct routine and ad-hoc analysis of all available labor metrics in accordance with COE guidance
  • Provide adequate balance and attention to each business unit
  • Implement plans for identified labor standardization opportunities in concert with operations managers
  • Establish and monitor procedures and processes in relation to Labor Management
  • Identify negative trends and create solutions with property leadership
  • Assess actual performance against standards to determine whether the department is on target to reach its goals and urge corrective actions as necessary
  • Develop execution plan to implement long term goals for the Property that become the basis for short term goals and annual operational planning
  • Develop the appropriate objectives for each department’s labor and direct the methodologies by which those objectives are going to be accomplished.  Ensure objectives synchronized with Budget and Forecast processes
  • Access HLBFS, Essbase and SALT for hotels in Group to collect and analyze pertinent data
  • Work within established departmental budget
  • Install Weekly Labor Meeting Analytics and monitor utilization
  • Provide direct support to department heads and managers as relates to labor management
  • Coordinate communications related to property-generated software enhancement requests as well as reporting bugs
  • Establish and enforce policies and procedures that will improve the overall operation and effectiveness of the property
  • Retain Hilton WebEx account to facilitate routine and ad hoc remote meetings
  • Maintain labor standards in alignment with budget and current business operations and Hilton GLMS Standards Grid
  • Ensure compliance with corporate reporting directives, methodologies, and deadlines
  • Coordinate COE Service Center requests and complete change and service requests in accordance with COE directives and access rights
  • Ensure labor standards are not modified without proper involvement and authorization
  • Monitor return on invested capital and time resources
  • Conduct accountability review for all LMS roles
  • Evaluate business processes to maximize efficiency and effectiveness
  • Plan and execute quarterly property reviews using standard agenda for all hotels in group
  • Participate in Operational Effectiveness projects as directed by the COE for OE1 (Focused, OE4 (Targeted) or OE13 (Comprehensive) assignments when available
