What kind of computer equipment do I need?

All Hilton Reservations & Customer Care Team Members must have the following equipment in place to qualify for a Work-From-Home position:

  • Monitor
  • High Speed Wired Internet (wireless not permitted)
  • Surge Protector
  • Home Office Space free of background noise and distractions

We provide a portion of the technical hardware equipment including:

  • Thin-Client/Mini PC
  • Keyboard
  • Mouse
  • VoIP Headset compatible with Thin-Client
  • Flash drive
  • Ethernet cable

In some situations, Hilton’s VoIP phone service may not be available for some Work from Home agents, due to their internet connectivity. In the event your internet connection does not support Hilton’s VoIP phone service, we require you to provide home phone service and a dial pad with corded headset to take reservations calls.

What does the online training program entail?

Hilton’s virtual training program allows you the flexibility and control to select training sessions from our daily offerings that work best for you on a day-to-day basis. Please see below for more details:

  • Your Hilton journey begins with an online orientation offered at a variety of times on Tuesdays and Thursdays
  • Training sessions will be available for you to schedule Monday through Friday and are offered at a variety of times
  • Start times will be as early as 9am and as late as 6pm Central with each learning session lasting approximately 4 hours in length
  • Team members are empowered to schedule their own learning sessions based on their availability to attend each day (Max 2 sessions per day)
  • Team members will complete assessments along the way to ensure their success on the job. After training, you will gain realistic, practical experience with supportive coaching and feedback to meet daily customer service and sales goals
  • Total training length consists of 14 learning sessions, for a total of approximately 56 hours of training time

Reservation Sales Team Members are paid a base pay of $9.00 per hour + incentives. Incentives are based on your ability to meet sales metrics and other performance goals, and can range in amount, up to $2.00 per hour through the iEarn incentive program.
