Brooke, Manager, Brand Resources
As the Manager, Brand Resources, Brooke creates content for hotel leaders and management to help them implement brand standards and improve customer experiences. She entered the giveaway to fulfill her husband’s dream of attending a race—he is a passionate fan of the sport, McLaren, and driver Lando Norris.
How did you feel when you learned you were among the 2024 Las Vegas Grand Prix winners? What did it mean to you to win?
“I was overjoyed and could not believe our luck (we never win anything!). Winning this contest was incredibly meaningful because it allowed me to give my husband a once-in-a-lifetime experience. It was not just about attending the race but also about the joy and excitement it brought to him. It perfectly blended our love for each other and his passion for F1, creating memories we will cherish forever.”

Jim has been a member of Team Hilton for nineteen years. He began his hospitality journey as a dishwasher and worked his way up to General Manager. Jim entered the giveaway for his daughter, a huge F1 fan living abroad. He said winning this experience was a great getaway for them to spend time together.
Can you share a highlight from your experience at the 2024 F1 Las Vegas Grand Prix?
“After we entered the circuit, we were walking as a group when a golf cart passed us going in the other direction. Riding on the cart was Lando Norris. My daughter told me she made eye contact and even said hi. I am sure Julia will remember this for her entire life.”

Monica has been with Hilton for seventeen years. She started her career at a Hilton hotel in Cancun, Mexico, and is proud to have grown her career alongside the region. Monica and her husband are both F1 fans, but on rival sides—she says the trip to Las Vegas has pushed him closer to joining her in cheering for the McLaren F1 Team.
What was the overall impression of your experience in Las Vegas?
“This was the first race for either of us. It is safe to say we have been deeply inspired. How will we ever top this experience in the McLaren Paddock Club…I mean, come on?! We have decided to save and try to go to a race every other year, VIP style, since now we know the ins and outs!”
Aung, Facility Engineer, Waldorf Astoria Las Vegas
Aung has worked at Waldorf Astoria Las Vegas Residences for almost eight years, and since day one, he says he has had nothing but positive experiences. As a local, he was especially motivated to win the giveaway—he has wanted to experience the thrill of a race for many years.
What was your experience like attending the 2024 Las Vegas Grand Prix?
“It was an experience like none other: a warm welcome and check-in for the race, VIP transportation from the hotel to the event, a guided tour of the paddock, a pit lane walk, gourmet food and drinks, and lively atmospheres. I am grateful to have won the giveaway.”

Traci came to Hilton in 2023 after graduating with a master’s degree from Northwestern University, and she has loved getting to know the hospitality industry. She entered the giveaway for her dad—they are both big fans of the sport. It has been a way for them to stay connected since she moved away. Traci jumped at the chance for them to see a race live and in person.
What was your experience like attending the 2024 Las Vegas Grand Prix?
“Everything was well planned and super thought out. The McLaren experience was a fantastic atmosphere in which to watch the events on the track and socialize with the other Hilton guests. We also got to walk through the pit lane, where we could see the mechanics working on the cars behind the scenes. It was exhilarating!”
