Get to Know Priscilla
“In college, I knew I wanted to be in sales. However, I wanted to work in the hotel operation to gain experience and become a more well-rounded seller. I started my career with a front office focus with Hilton’s Management Development Program (MDP) and eventually entered sales! I am grateful to have worked in two of Hilton’s largest big box properties, which gave me a solid foundation to take on my current role at Hilton Worldwide Sales. As an account manager, I have been able to build a wider skill set and be challenged and inspired in a whole new way!”

Priscilla’s MDP Experience
“I chose Hilton because of the desire to work at one of our large, flagship properties. At the beginning of my career, I was told, “If you can work at a large hotel, you can work at any hotel,” to this day, I still stand by that sentiment. I learned so much at the Hilton Hawaiian Village through MDP. I also had a wonderful interview experience connecting with various Hilton leaders and recruiters, and “it just felt right,” which was important to me.
MDP is a perfect way to jumpstart your hospitality career. I really appreciated the program's structure since it allowed me to self-manage and self-lead while having mentorship and tools available. This program is designed specifically for the MDP Team Members to be successful and find their passion within hospitality. Through MDP, I made many professional connections with mentors and mentees, who became some of my closest friends.”

What do you love about hospitality?
“I genuinely enjoy meeting new people from all walks of life and learning about diverse cultures. Particularly in my role, where I am a ‘people-connector’ planning conferences, meetings, and events and bringing people together to positively impact the world while creating meaningful experiences and memories. The power of meeting face-to-face is so special, and I love being a part of it.”
How do you bring your whole self to work?
“Being authentic, transparent, and honest are three things I live by! I also ensure I am open to feedback to continue working towards being my best.”
What aspects of Hilton’s culture and benefits keep you at the company?
“I particularly admire Hilton’s focus on well-being with many options to ‘thrive’ and truly feel supported. Hilton prioritizes work-life balance, and all my managers and colleagues embrace this culture together!”
What is the #1 place on your travel bucket list?
“The next trip on my bucket list is Capetown, South Africa, and Mauritius!”
