Job Summary

AnHilton Meetings Coordinator is responsible to deliver an excellent Guest and Memberexperience while troubleshooting issues and providing solutions.

What will I be doing?

Asan Hilton Meetings Coordinator, you will be responsible for assuring the smooth execution ofthe events once in house, being at full disposal of the guests to deliver anexcellent Guest and Member experience, to troubleshoot technical issues andprovide solutions to meet guest requirements. Specifically, you will beresponsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Meet and exceed customer expectations consistently
  • Provide all printed menus, labels and signage for the upcoming events
  • Set up audio, video and lighting to meet requirements
  • Troubleshoot technical issues, pinpoint faults, and offer remedies during events
  • Manage parcels in arrival/departure for events
    • Check billing of the in house events to assure event master accounts are correct and ready to be closed within the standard closing period
      • Work closely with the Conference and Banqueting team
      • Comply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation
      • Knowledge of front of house equipment and property management systems
      • Attend appropriate training courses when required
      • Ensure compliance of brand standards
      • Assist other departments wherever necessary and maintain good working relationships
      • Be environmentally aware

        Itwould be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the followingcapabilities and distinctions:

        • Previous experience in similar role in the hotel/leisure/retail sector
        • Knowledge of Video Conferencing, trussing, and rigging
