Job Summary

This position will be responsible for Project Management of all IT related functions of new hotel openings and conversions of full-service owned and managed properties hotels in China.

This position partners with the various operational leads and strategic vendors to provide leadership in ensuring compliance with Hilton IT standards, project methodology and processes and delivery of project on time and on budget.

The Manager, Regional Field Services Projects will interface directly with the owners/owners representative, the General Manager, Technical Services, Project Directors, Operations and other discipline involved in the hotel opening or conversion process. Responsible for on-going communications related to technology including updates of deliverables, budget utilization, timelines and critical path; manage risks and make recommendations to address issues related to technology and is overall accountable and responsible for successful delivery of the Hilton technology in a hotel opening or conversion.

This position will establish liaison with, and manage performance and deliverables of internal and external service providers and strategic partners involved in the project.

What will I be doing?

Planning Activities 30%

• Ensure Approved Hilton IT methods are used when managing projects
• Create and Coordinate individual site project and action plans
• Organize and schedule IT PIP and site survey
• Work with Operations and Technical Services to ensure project requirements and timelines are aligned.

Organizing Activities 30%

• Ensure infrastructure changes are communicated to the relevant parties.
• Ensure sites conversion activities keep to project guidelines
• Ensure IT standards and best practices are communicated and implemented
• Organize and attend project meetings where required
• Disseminates, organized and communicates updates and progress regarding the project

Directing Activities 10%

• Communicate, plan and manage the implementation of IT project
• Communicate and manage project change controls that impact IT
• Coordinate the schedule of various technologies vendors in accordance with the overall project timeline
• Ensure regular contact with key stake holders
• Maintain and communicate risks and issues logs throughout the project
• Informs regional senior leadership of project progress and highlight key issues to help the decision making process

Controlling Activities 30%

 • Responsible for the compilation of documentations related to the project including budget deviations, HITS, Critical Path
• Ensure that agreed procurement standards and processes and relevant third parties process are maintained.
• Prepare and submit bi-monthly project status report

• 4 year College Degree
• Significant experience in a Technology roles, at least 5 years
• 3+ years management and/or project management experience
• 3+ years Vendor management experience
• Strong Business Communication skill in English and Mandarin
• Ability to travel as required
