“I began my career at Hilton in 2016 as a receptionist. A year and a half later, I was promoted to Rooms Supervisor, a key role in my development as it allowed me to face challenges that shaped my leadership style. Today, as Rooms Manager, I continue learning something new every day—and that is what I enjoy most about my role.”

You have built a longstanding and fulfilling career at Hilton. How does the career growth and development you have experienced show that hospitality can be more than a short-term job?

“I am especially proud of receiving the Leader of the Year award in 2023, as it reflects the recognition and appreciation of my own team.”

How do you create meaningful experiences for guests at Hilton Garden Inn Montevideo?

“Most of our guests are corporate travelers, many of whom stay with us frequently. I focus on ensuring each stay is memorable and that every Team Member delivers truly personalized service. At the same time, with first-time guests, our goal is to build loyalty and turn them into frequent visitors.”

What advice would you give to someone considering working at Hilton?

“I strongly believe that Hilton is a place for anyone with a passion for hospitality, a sense of responsibility, and the drive to grow. My advice is always to practice patience and perseverance, maintain a positive mindset, and stay focused on your goals. With that attitude, opportunities will surely come.”
