November is National Caregivers Month, a time to recognize and honor the incredible work of caregivers— those who care for others, whether at home, at work, or in both settings. At Hilton, we understand that balancing family and career can be challenging, which is why we offer benefits like Wellthy’s Parental Support. Wellthy provides Hilton Team Members with expert guidance on everything from sleep coaching and lactation support to personalized parent coaching, helping families navigate the ups and downs of parenting with confidence.

Katie Lopresti, Senior Manager, HR Ops Integration, Americas, recently turned to Wellthy as a second-time parent. She shares her experience using the program, how it helped her family feel more rested and supported, and why she encourages other Team Members to take advantage of this valuable resource.

Can you share a bit about your parenting journey and what led you to Wellthy’s Parenting Support benefit?

“As a second-time parent, I thought I had things figured out—but our second child had other plans, especially when it came to sleep! What worked with our first just didn’t work this time around. I was feeling overwhelmed and knew I needed some expert help, so I turned to Wellthy’s Parenting Support benefit to see what they could offer.”

How did Wellthy support you? Were there any specific services (like sleep coaching, lactation support, or parent coaching) that made a difference?

“The sleep coaching was a lifesaver. We were matched with Maria, who was amazing. She took the time to understand our situation, conducted research on our behalf, and provided us with clear and thoughtful advice. It was such a relief to have someone guide us through the process and help us make decisions we felt good about.”

What was your experience like working with Wellthy’s Care Experts? Did you find their guidance and resources helpful in making parenting decisions?

“Maria was kind, knowledgeable, and incredibly supportive. There’s so much information out there, and it can be hard to know what’s right for your family. Having someone we could trust to cut through the noise and offer personalized guidance made a huge difference.”

How has having access to this benefit impacted your overall well-being, both as a parent and as a Hilton Team Member?

“It’s been a game-changer. Getting our daughter’s sleep on track has helped our whole family feel more rested and less stressed. That peace of mind carries over into work too—I feel more focused and energized during the day. It’s amazing to work for a company that offers benefits that truly support us at home and at work.”

What advice would you give to other Hilton Team Members who might be considering using this benefit?

“Go for it! Whether you’re a new parent or just facing a new challenge, Wellthy is such a helpful resource. You don’t have to figure everything out on your own—there’s support available, and it can make a real difference.”
