Cyber SecurityThe Cyber Security team both supports and educates to prevent unauthorized exfiltration of Hilton data, maintaining governance, risk and compliance. The team partners with various groups to recommend how best to protect the data and applications, identifying possible security issues based on application architecture, code scans, and more.

Our Technology in Action: Innovations in Hospitality
Hilton’s entirely in-house Technology Team develops consumer-facing, cutting edge technologies revolutionizing the hospitality industry around the world. From in-room Internet of Things (IoT) such as mobile, Digital Key and Confirmed Connected Rooms to a contactless guest experience, they set the bar.
Digital Key
Hilton’s Digital Key technology enables guests to use the Hilton Honors app on their mobile device as a room key and is central to the Contactless Arrival. Our teams not only played integral roles in its development, but in its continued optimization, from innovating the most recent Digital Key Share feature to designing the security controls and supporting the global infrastructure used to request and issue keys.
Confirmed Connecting RoomsTrue to our UX-centric research, our Confirmed Connecting Rooms technology solves a longtime travel frustration. Hilton became the first major hotel company to introduce a booking experience that allows individuals to easily book and instantly confirm at least two connecting rooms. A variety of our teams each played a key role in its development and continued infrastructure growth, from creating the API and user interfaces to protecting the digital security and safety of our guests throughout their stays.
Resorts World Las Vegas Command Center Resorts World Las Vegas is the strip’s most tech-forward resort, featuring three premium Hilton brands. Our teams built and support the Resorts World Command Center: the middleware between the property management system, providing a way for Resorts World to operate as one, central campus. This equips our hotels to provide guests with seamless experiences across the resort. Our teams also reviewed the access model, above-property PMS and a suite of Hilton’s API accesses.
Our most beloved benefit, Go Hilton is our internal travel discount program, providing our Team Member access to deep hotel discounts, with room rates as low as $35/night*. Our Technology teams continue to optimize and evolve the digital Go Hilton experience for all of us!
For the recently launched new Go Hilton experience, the teams leaned into feedback by constantly listening to the user via qualitative feedback as well as multi-variant testing to de-risk from a quantitative perspective. The latest features include: pricing on map, scrollable gallery within list view, as well as new attribute filters which are constantly expanding. This project is beautiful example of our cross-functional collaborations between Engineering, Design, Product, and Business partners.
