Diversity is continually promoted within our marketplace through our supplier diversity program, multi-cultural marketing to diverse customer segments, partnerships with numerous diverse nonprofit organizations, and development of property ownership for women and minorities.
HOW SUPPLIER DIVERSITY IS DRIVING CHANGE
The HSM team recently hosted its second annual Supplier Diversity summit bringing together Hilton leadership, industry experts and our diverse supplier community. This event allows HSM to showcase our commitment to increasing diversity in our global supply chain and fostering connections between diverse suppliers and Hilton business leaders.
The Supplier Diversity team at HSM has made it a priority to support diverse suppliers and empower them to reach their goals. As a result, we have developed the Diversity Advancement Fund. Each year, $10,000 is awarded to a minority-or women-owned business that has had an impact on economic development strategies designed to accelerate innovation and entrepreneurship.
We work closely with our collaborators to identify new suppliers by participating in Match Making and metnorship opportunities. These partnerships allow us to grow our base of certified diverse suppliers and increase our influence with other organizations working to advance diversity within supply chain.
OUR COMMITMENT TO CORPORATE RESPONSIBILITY
Hilton and the Hilton Effect Foundation are working to create a better world to travel. Through our Travel with Purpose program, we have committed to cut our environmental footprint in half and double our social impact by 2030.
